Fanta Crimson Cherry 6 x 330 ml from Greece

A Greek-market Fanta you are unlikely to have seen before: Crimson Cherry, a deep red apple and cherry blend that sits somewhere between the orange original and a proper cherryade.

The cherry leads — sweet and slightly jammy — with the apple underneath keeping it crisp rather than heavy. It is closer to the tart edge of cherry than the syrupy cough-sweet direction those flavours can go in.

Fanta releases different flavours for different markets, and this one is made for Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean. It is not part of the standard lineup in most of Europe or North America, which makes it a good one to try if you already know the brand.
