Shipping Cyprus Food and Drinks to Germany
Germany is our largest market inside the European Union. Cyprus is an EU member too, which makes ordering simple: your parcel travels within the single market, with no customs paperwork and no import duty. This page explains how shipping works and how long it takes.
How shipping is priced
Postage is based on the total weight of your parcel and is calculated automatically at checkout. Add the items you want to your cart, go to checkout and enter your address. You will see every available service and its price before you pay, from economical postal services to fast express couriers.
The first kilos are the expensive ones. After that the price rises slowly, so a fuller box is far better value per item. For small, urgent orders, UPS Saver is a fast option.
How long delivery takes
- Processing: 1 to 2 working days before dispatch.
- UPS Saver: around 2 working days.
- EMS Express: 4 to 5 working days.
- Priority mail and Cyprus Post parcels: usually 4 to 9 working days.
These are estimates. Every parcel is sent with tracking.
Customs and duty: none within the EU
Both Cyprus and Germany are in the European Union. There are no customs checks and no import duty on your order, and nothing extra to pay the courier on delivery. The price you see at checkout is the full price.
Alcohol, halloumi and meat
We ship wine, Zivania, Commandaria and liqueurs to Germany. The recipient must be 18 or over. Because Germany is in the EU, we can also send halloumi and traditional Cypriot cold cuts by two-day express in an insulated cool box, which is not possible for most countries outside Europe.
What our German customers order most
- Linos Mediterranean Blue wine
- The Cyprus foukou barbecue for souvla, and other grills from the foukou collection
- 7 Elies organic extra virgin olive oil
- Cypriot wines from the wine collection
- Commandaria and Zivania
- Cyprus coffee and loukoumi
Tips for a good-value order
- Light orders can travel by Registered Post, the most economical service. Coffee, sweets and snacks often qualify.
- A 750 ml bottle weighs about 1.3 kg packed. A mixed case of wine costs much less per bottle to ship than a single bottle.
- Heavy items such as a foukou ship best on their own. The price is shown at checkout.
