Mastiha is traditionally used as a mean to relieve stomach problems. A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, supports that mastiha contributes to a healthy gastrointestinal system.

General information:  The active ingredient in the formulation is Chios Mastiha (Ch. Pistacia Lentiscus), powdered.

Indications: Chios Mastiha contributes to eradication of Helico-bacter pylori (the causative agent in the creation of ulcers), reliefs from heartburn and digestive problems in general.

Contra-indications: Have not been reported.

Use during Pregnancy / Lactation: No data available.

Interaction with drugs or substances: No data available.

Dosage: Adults, 2-4 capsules daily, with water or juice, 30 minutes before your meal. Ideally consume 4 capsules daily, 2 before each meal. Consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Undesirable effects: There were no adverse effects at doses up to five grams a day for period up to 6 months. Higher dose has not been used in clinical studies.
