Shipping Cyprus Food and Drinks to Canada

From Toronto and Montreal to Vancouver, Canada's Greek and Cypriot families are some of our most loyal customers. We post parcels to Canadian addresses regularly. This page explains how shipping works, how long it takes, and what to expect at the border.

How shipping is priced

Postage is based on the total weight of your parcel and is calculated automatically at checkout. Add the items you want to your cart, go to checkout and enter your address. You will see every available service and its price before you pay, from economical postal services to fast express couriers.

The first kilo is the expensive one. After that the price rises slowly, so a fuller box is far better value per item.

How long delivery takes

  • Processing: 1 to 2 working days before dispatch.
  • UPS Saver: 2 to 3 working days.
  • EMS Express: 7 to 10 working days.
  • Priority international mail: 10 to 15 working days.
  • Economy Post: 15 to 20 working days.

These are estimates. Every parcel is sent with tracking, and postal parcels are handed to Canada Post for final delivery.

Canadian customs, duty and taxes

Our prices do not include Canadian charges. Parcels arriving by post are assessed by the Canada Border Services Agency. Low-value parcels usually pass without charge. Above the threshold, you may be asked to pay duty and GST or HST, plus a Canada Post handling fee, when the parcel is delivered. Thresholds and rates are set by the CBSA and can change, so please check their current guidance if you are unsure.

Alcohol

We do ship mastiha liqueurs, Commandaria, Zivania and wine to Canada, and Skinos Mastiha is one of our most ordered items there. Alcohol imports are regulated by each province's liquor authority, and provincial mark-ups and taxes can apply on top of federal duty. The recipient must be of legal drinking age in their province. Please check your provincial rules before ordering.

Food restrictions

Commercially packaged, shelf-stable foods such as crisps, biscuits, coffee, sweets, olive oil and baby cereals are generally accepted for personal use. Meat products are not permitted, and dairy is restricted, so we do not send halloumi or cold cuts to Canada.
